FRANCES HENRIETTA LEONARD, age 85 years of Delta, PA died on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Manor Care -York. She was the wife of Edward H. Leonard who died on August 20, 1987.

Born on May 24, 1927, she was a daughter of the late John and Nelly I. (Dutton) Edwin. A homemaker, Mrs. Leonard had retired from Flinchbaugh Engineering at their former location in Red Lion where she worked for 30 years. She was an active member of Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church of Delta, serving for many years as a church usher. In the later years of her life, she had moved to York. She was a friend to everyone, devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Frances Christine Turner on April 22, 2006.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church,
1006 Main Street, Delta with Reverend Mary Johnson and Reverend Samuel Means co-officiating.
