Life Story for Dorothy G. Neeper
DOROTHY G. NEEPER, age 92 years of Havre de Grace, MD, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Harford Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Ernest E. Neeper who died on April 27, 2011.
Born on September 25, 1921 in Whiteford, MD, Mrs. Neeper was a daughter of the late Warren C. “Doc” Glasgow and Nellie McKinley Glasgow. A graduate of the former Slate Ridge High School of Cardiff, MD in the late 1930’s, she was affiliated with the Harford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and had served on the Board of Directors for the Wilson Day Care Center. Mrs. Neeper was a former member of Havre de Grace Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon and was a member of Deer Creek Harmony Presbyterian Church, also in Havre de Grace. She was a homemaker, dedicated to her late husband and family.
She is survived by:

Susan N. Appell and her husband, Bruce of Aberdeen, MD
5 grandchildren- K. Wendy Moretz, Rachel Jarratt and her husband Scott, Richard Moretz and his wife Jill, Ashley Melber and her husband, Adam; Abby Appell
5 great-grandchildren- Alex & Savannah Jarratt and Dustin, Noah and Kyle Moretz.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 4th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. A second visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Dr. Robert Clipp of Grace United Methodist Church of Aberdeen, MD will officiate with interment in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA.
