Life Story for R. Carolyn Schnetzka
R. CAROLYN SCHNETZKA, age 75 years of Delta, PA, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene Schnetzka with whom she had shared 58 years of marriage.
Born on September 10, 1938 in Bryansville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Reba (Wise) Scotten, a lifetime resident of York County and a longtime member of Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church in Cardiff, MD. She enjoyed reading, bingo and going to casinos.
She is survived by:
Four children-
Jeanne Heffner and her husband, Scott of Brogue, PA
Connie Johnson and her husband, Jay of Delta, PA
Sandee Mattlin and her husband, Mike of Delta, PA
John Schnetzka and his wife, Sheila of Delta, PA
Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren
Three siblings-
Betty Amberman and her husband, Bill of Stewartstown, PA
Carroll Scotten and his wife, Marcia of White Hall, MD
Judy Wolf and her husband, Dave of Stewartstown, PA
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Beth R. Holz of The Peach Bottom Charge will officiate.
Interment will be in Bryansville Cemetery, Delta, PA.
