Message to the Family: I was blessed to have you as part of my family for 25+ years. Thinking back I remember your many passions... from your baseball hat collection, your love of music, you many concerts and concert stubs, your nightly bowl of ice cream, your enthusiasm for sports, your bond with your dogs - Doc and Garbage and most importantly the love and pride you had for your son. You will be missed more than you will ever know. Love you Steve...Rest in Peace.

Message to the Family: I never met Steve, but from those around him, it’s obvious that he was love centered. Love was important to him and he had no problem verbally expressing his love to those he loved. When someone with such a deep heart like Steve dies so early in life, it’s easy not to focus on him, and focus on ourselves, thru guilt. What I should have done, what I didn’t do, what I didn’t say or what I did. The fact that he loved you, proves that you are worthy of his love. Interestingly, we seldom think about what we did do, what we did say. We could have given everything, but an inch, and that inch, we focus on. Based on what I've heard about Steve, he would have never concentrated on that inch, but we are thinking inward, not as he did, when he expressed his love. I hope that the inspirational and actions that this man performed, when he was at his best, makes us realize that we are not moments in time, seconds, minutes nor days, even months of what we do and say; we are a lifetime of events, moments, all precious. But most of all, being imperfect is what makes us human. If we were anything but that, would we need God or anything spiritual to hold us together, when we can’t do that ourselves? Blessings to everyone Steve touched, and those who touched him.

Message to the Family: Just wanted to Thank Uncle Steve for being a part of our lives. He loved my kids so much. He named Alyssa sweetie. He loved fishing with Branden and talking football with Cody. I Thank You for all the great times we shared. From Raven's games,tailgating,to camping to just coffee in the mornings with me and Lisa. He was truly one of a kind. Steve would do anything for anybody. He was not only Uncle Steve he was our best friend to brother. His van is in our driveway like it was so many times and it helps us just seeing it there. Truly a GREAT guy. Rock on Uncle Steve.
