Obituary for Mack B. Dowell

Mack B.   Dowell
MACK B. DOWELL, age 83 years, of North East, MD died on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Christiana Hospital in Christiana, DE. He was the husband of the late Carrie Lee Dowell.
Mr. Dowell was born in Sparta, NC on February 8, 1931 a son of the late Mack B. and Izetta (Burchett) Dowell. He was employed as a service technician for the McDonald’s Corp. prior to his retirement.
He is survived by:
Three sons: Mack B. Dowell, Jr. of North East, MD
David C. Dowell of Street, MD
Robert G. Dowell of Joppa, MD
One daughter: Sandra Jean Michaels of North East, MD
Two brothers: Charles Dowell of Bel Air, MD
Hubert Dowell of Roanoke, VA
Three sisters: Eloise Hagy of Darlington, MD
Bonnie Hackler of Galax, VA
Ruby Singleton of Forest Hill, MD
Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Pastor Mark A. Rudd of the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10 – 11 a.m.
Interment will be in New Bridge Cemetery, Colora, MD
