Life Story for William C. Grubb

William C.  Grubb
WILLIAM C. GRUBB, age 82 years of Perry Hall, MD, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was the husband of Florence Stella Grubb who died in 2010.

Born on July 26, 1932 in Wytheville, VA, he was a son of the late Albert William and Essie (Helton) Grubb and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Grubb had worked for over 35 years as a foreman at the former Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and most outdoor activities. Mr. Grubb was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Fulton, MD and was known to his family as a loving father, brother and uncle.

He is survived by:
His companion, Jean Klinedinst of Hanover, PA

Two sisters-
Marie Wilkins of Hampstead, NC
Thelma Specht of Annapolis, MD

A brother, Melvin E. Grubb of Pylesville, MD

Loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Grubb and siblings, Lee Grubb and Virginia Howard.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin on Monday at 10 a.m.

Interment will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD.
