Life Story for Warner Clifton Brenner

WARNER CLIFTON BRENNER of Conowingo, MD, age 82, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE. Married on June 6, 1952, he was the beloved husband of Barbara L. (Llewellyn) Brenner with whom he had shared 62 years of marriage.

A son of the late Warner William and Evelyn (Gaither) Brenner, he was born on May 30, 1932 in Baltimore, MD. Warner was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from August 1951 through August 1955 with most of his time aboard the U.S.S. Bushnell. Working as a machine operator for the former Western Electric, now known as AT&T, Warner retired in 1984 with 35 years of service. He attended the New Beginnings Worship Center in Essex, MD, enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and loved to enjoy life through laughter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children:
Deborah L. Cross and her husband, Joseph of Gulf Breeze, FL
Robert W. Brenner and his wife, Barbara of Abingdon, MD
Jean M. Irby and her husband, Stephen of Rising Sun, MD
Diana L. Brilhart and her husband, Warren of Street, MD
James W. Brenner and his wife, Lisa of Whiteford, MD

A brother, Ross G. Brenner and his wife, Barbara of Pasadena, MD

Eighteen grandchildren and forty great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin on Monday, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sharon A. Wamsley officiating.

Interment will follow the service in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, Baltimore, MD.
