Life Story for Linda M. Thompson

Linda M.  Thompson
LINDA M. THOMPSON, 64 of Delta, PA, died on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at York Hospital. Born on April 1, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Curtis V. and Eleanor (Heaps) Thompson.

A longtime resident of Delta, Linda was a teacher for the Red Lion Area School District and loved to work with children. A member of Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church in Cardiff, MD, she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and a deacon. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by:
A sister, Marian Koegel and her husband, William of Delta, PA

A brother, David V. Thompson, also of Delta

Two nieces-
Jessica Koegel and Madelyn K. Dorville

Four nephews-
Nicholaus Thompson, Jason Thompson, Curtis Thompson and William Koegel, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home. 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday the 13th at Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1630 Chestnut Street, Cardiff, MD 21160 with her pastor. Reverend Guy W. Dunham officiating.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the church at the above address.
