Life Story for Edna Mae Keys

Edna Mae  Keys
EDNA MAE KEYS, age 85 of Pylesville, MD, died on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Otis Keys who died on April 23, 1982.

Born on October 6, 1929 in Wythe County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Alexander and Lula Mae (Parks) Hackler. A homemaker, Mrs. Keys had resided in Harford County for the past 64 years and enjoyed antiquing, sewing, crafts and keeping journals. She was a member of the Delta Church of the Nazarene since 1956 where she had served as a board member and with the missionary society.

She is survived by:
Four children-
Cecil Keys and his wife, Christine of Pylesville, MD
Kenneth L. Keys of Bel Air, MD
Deborah L. Reed and her husband, Ted of Virginia Beach, VA
Lisa M. Thompson and her husband, David of Spring Hill, TN

A brother, Larry Hackler of Galax, VA

Seven grandchildren-

Alexander Thompson
Noah Thompson

Six great grandchildren

A brother-in-law, Roger Akers of Woodlawn, VA

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin on Wednesday, the 28th at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Dan A. Drodey will officiate with interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.

In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093
