Life Story for Otis "Cecil" Keys

OTIS “CECIL” KEYS, 67 years of Pylesville, MD, died in his home on Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was the husband of Christine (Tsaousakis) Keys, and they had shared 18 years of marriage.

Born on July 31, 1947 in Sugar Grove, VA, he was a son of the late Otis and Edna Mae (Hackler) Keys and had been a longtime resident of Harford County. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Keys had served as an Army Ranger and as a sharp shooter, receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart medals. Mr. Keys attended Delta Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed fishing, crabbing, boating and woodworking. He was known to cherish the times spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dawn Kozlowski of Pylesville, MD and Kevin DuFour of Jarrettsville, MD

A brother, Kenneth L. Keys of Bel Air, MD

Two sisters-
Deborah L. Reed and her husband, Ted of Virginia Beach, VA
Lisa M. Thompson and her husband, David of Spring Hill, TN

Fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, five nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

There will not be any public funeral services.
