Life Story for Ruth Margaret Townsley
RUTH MARGARET TOWNSLEY, 97 years of Rising Sun, MD, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in her home. She was the wife of the late Clifford A. Townsley who passed away in 1982.
Born on June 13, 1918 in Tazewell, VA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Laura (Peery) Keesee. At the young age of 8, she and her family moved to Harford County. A seamstress, she had worked for the former Fawn Grove Sewing Factory in Fawn Grove, PA. Mrs. Townsley spent her later years in Cecil County and was a loving mother and grandmother; she cherished times with her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Lee Townsley on April 19, 2001.
Visitation on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA followed immediately with the funeral service at 11 a.m.
Reverend Dr. John McKnight will officiate with interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Harford Christian School, P.O. 88, Darlington, MD 21034.
