It will be very difficult around here without you. I can only imagine you as a hard headed marine when I see that picture. My heart is saddened at the loss of Jay. I only knew him a short time at Walter Reed but he always was cheerful and an inspiration to many. I had the honor to take him home once and we joked and laughed the entire way. He always filled everyone with laughter. I will always remember his cheerful spirit. I remember our time spent together with Sgt Kaufman in Camp Niantic and riding home with you and SGT Cox on pass from FT Dix like it was yesterday.
