Obituary for Frances B. Martin (Crouse)

FRANCES B. MARTIN, age 91 years, of Shrewsbury, PA and formerly of Dublin, MD died on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of Edmund L. Martin. They observed their 25th. wedding anniversary on December 1, 2014.

Mrs. Martin was born in Darlington (Dublin), MD on February 24, 1924, a daughter of the late William and Docea (Caudill) Crouse. Born and raised on the family farm, she had a lifelong love of farming and family. She worked in retail sales for many years and volunteered at the Lutheran Mission Society in Baltimore.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was known for her tenderheartedness and compassion.
She and her husband were longtime members of the New Covenant Community Church of God, Bel Air, MD.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Martin is survived by:

Three daughters; Ruth Bonham and her husband, Edward of Street, MD
Barbara Mitchell of Bel Air, MD
Donna Williams and her husband, George of Havre de Grace, MD

Two brothers; Melvin Crouse of Darlington, MD
Herbert Crouse of Abingdon, MD

One sister, Grace Rosenberger of Bel Air, MD

She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Belcher, and her daughter, Patricia Roe.

A time of viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 12 – 1:00 p.m. at the New Covenant Community Church of God, 2530 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, MD 21015.

The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Ramsundar officiating.

Interment will be in Dublin Southern Cemetery.
