Harvey M.  Weese
HARVEY M. WEESE, 87 years of Delta, PA, died on Monday, June 22, 2015 at York Hospital in York, PA. He was the husband of Dorothy May (Clements) Weese who passed away on June 4, 2009.

Born on July 22, 1927 in White Sulphur Springs, WV, he was a son of the late Edward and Josephine (Mullins) Weese and a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1945 – 1947. Mr. Weese had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Wm. T. Burnett & Company (STX Corp.) for over 25 years and had previously lived in Dundalk, MD. Before moving to Delta, he had been a member of the Eastern Assembly of God in Dundalk and then the Windsor Assembly of God in Windsor, PA. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed golfing, deep sea fishing and hunting. He was active with the Royal Rangers at his church and the Delta Senior Center.

He is survived by:
Two children-
Donna Mae Gartner of Abingdon, MD
Deanna Kruba of Delta, PA

A sister, Pearl Weese Stuckey and her husband, Carlton of Rosedale, MD

Two brothers-
Leonard Weese and his wife, Lydia (Sis) of Berkley Springs, WV
Henry Lee Weese of Baltimore, MD

Three grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Furthermore, his family wishes to recognize the many friends and relatives in his church family and many other deeply valued friendships.

He was preceded in death by six siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday.

His pastor, Reverend James Levkulich will officiate.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD with military honors presented by the United States Army Honor Guard.
