Life Story for Charles E. Roupe

CHARLES E. ROUPE, 62 years of Airville, PA, died on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Hospice & Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA. Born on June 21, 1953 in Winston-Salem, NC, he was a son of the late Carl G. and Evelyn B. (Hammons) Roupe and had attended Bel Air High School. Charles had worked as a HVAC Installer for various construction businesses as well as a carpenter with the former P&E Contractors. Later, he had worked with Comer Construction as a heavy equipment operator.

Charles lived life to the fullest and could always be counted on to help others. A guitar player, he enjoyed bluegrass festivals, many types of country music and was a fan of NASCAR.

He is survived by:
Two brothers-
Eddie L. Roupe of Florida
Eugene C. Roupe and his wife, Karen of Fawn Grove, PA

Three sisters-
Barbara E. Adams and her husband, Jimmy of Street, MD
Polly A. Roupe and Nathan Eagle of Airville, PA
Teresa E. Hansen and her husband, Brian of Bel Air, MD

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6 to 7 p.m. followed immediately with the memorial service at 7 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.
