Life Story for Esther E. Wayne
ESTHER E. WAYNE, 95 years of Forest Hill, MD, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She was the wife of John R. Wayne who died on March 21, 1992.
Born on November 24, 1919 in Delta, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Cora (Martin) Scott and was a member of Harford Chapter #83 O.E.S. in Bel Air, MD. She had worked as an executive secretary at Edgewood Arsenal until retirement when she moved to Rochester, N.Y. While in New York, she was employed as an executive secretary for the Xerox Corporation for several years. Mrs. Wayne was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by:

Margaret J. Cobb of Forest Hill, MD
Larry S. Wayne of Bel Air MD
Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Minister Thomas Fender of Aberdeen Church of Christ will officiate.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Delta, PA.
