Born on May 16, 1946 in Prince Georges’ County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Childress. Barbara was a self-employed care giver.

Sixteen grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Sparks
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of her family.
