Life Story for Ralph Lee Blevins
RALPH LEE BLEVINS, 65 years of Chesterfield., SC, formerly of Darlington, MD, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Martha Grace (Sexton) Blevins who died in December 2009. At the time of her death, they had shared 39 years of marriage.
Born on September 8, 1950 in West Jefferson, NC, he was a son of the late Earl and Georgia (Harris) Blevins and resided in Harford County from 1960 until 2012 when he moved to South Carolina to be closer to his family. Ralph was known as a man who loved his Lord and was ready to go home to be with Him and his wife, Grace.
He is survived by:
A son, Brian Blevins of St. Francis, MN
A daughter, Lisa (Darren) Edwards of Chesterfield, SC
Two brothers-
Roger Dale (Darlene) Blevins of Darlington, MD
Steve (Nancy) Blevins of Abingdon, MD
Two sisters-
Karen (Ronald) Durham of West Jefferson, NC
Linda (Rick) Wright of Delta, PA
Four grandchildren: Eric (Kayla) Campbell, Danielle Edwards, D.J. Edwards and Joseph Blevins
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Blevins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1st from 6 to 9 p.m. at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 3414 Cedar Church Road, Darlington, MD where the funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Church pastor, Mark A. Rudd will co-officiate with Pastor Darwin E. Cook of Maple Street Free Will Baptist Church located in Rockingham, NC.
Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery.
His family would appreciate memorial contributions to the church at the above address.
