JAMES DOUGLAS WHITEFORD, 24 years of Baldwin, MD, died on Friday, August 12, 2016 in his home. Born on September 6, 1991 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Lance D. Whiteford of Whiteford, MD Deborah Cranshaw Nix of St. Augustine, Florida.

A lifetime resident of Harford County, James’ passion was customizing hot rods and had worked 6 years for Visser Rod & Custom of Havre De Grace, MD. Furthermore, he was a Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoyed dirt track races.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by:
A half-brother, Brandon Visser and his wife, Kristen of Elkton, MD

His stepmother, Sandra Roach Whiteford of Whiteford, MD

Many loving extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. There will not be a funeral service.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 18th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post #182, 2217 Whiteford Road, Whiteford, MD 21160.

Inurnment will be private.
