Obituary for Tammy Rebecca Neaves
Tammy Rebecca Neaves, age 51 entered heaven on Mothers Day, May 14, 2017.
Tammy was born in Baltimore, MD on February 10, 1966 a daughter of Melvin E. Grubb Sr. and Kathleen (Boggs) Grubb of Pylesville, MD. She was married at age 19 to Jerry R. Neaves, Jr. They were divorced after 12 years of marriage. She was known for her kind loving heart and beautiful sense of humor. She had many friends of all walks of life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were her whole life and all she talked about to anyone who would listen. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, listening to music, and talking on the phone. She was a Daddy’s girl and loved her parents dearly.
She is survived by her three siblings, Cindy Wiegard of Seven Valley's, PA, Melvin E. Grubb, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD, Marsha Hedrick of Delta, PA, and her five children, Lorne R. Neaves, mother of Edgar A. Gonzalez, 3rd and Lucius B. Laurie of Baltimore, MD; Kristen L. Neaves, mother of Hayden L. Stern of Darlington, MD; Jeremy A. Neaves of Darlington, MD; Samantha K. Neaves, mother of Cyros E.S. Trett, and Asher I. Trett of Darlington, MD; Jacob A. Neaves of Darlington, MD. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Grubb of Pylesville, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA. Reverend Daniel Hooker, pastor of the Higher Ground Worship Center, Darlington will officiate.
Graveside committal services will be held on Monday, May 22 at1:30 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784
There will be no procession to the cemetery. Please meet at Lakeview by 1:30 p.m.
