Marion Paul  Comer
MARION PAUL COMER, 85 years of Delta, PA, died on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at York Hospital. Born on September 21, 1931 in Norrisville, MD, he was a son of the late Marion Pierce and Clara Serena (Cole) Comer.

A longtime resident of York County, PA, Paul had been employed as an auto mechanic working at Aberdeen Proving Ground, then was the owner/operator of Bates Garage followed by working for Cleary's Garage for several additional years. He served with the Maryland National Guard in the 1950's and enjoyed fast cars racing a 1956 Mercury and a 1964 Comet in Cecil County from the late 1950's through the early 1960's.

He is survived by his siblings:

Many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings-Lorraine McGrady, Mary Libby Collins and James Comer.

Memorial services will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 4162 Delta, Road, Airville, PA 17302 on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate memorial contributions to Bethany Baptist Church at the above address.
