Harold Thomas "Tom"  Tighe
HAROLD THOMAS “Tom” TIGHE, 85 years of Street, MD, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, MD. Married on October 21, 1978, he had shared nearly 40 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dorothy (Marx) Tighe.

Born on October 26, 1932 in Grafton, WV, he was a son of the late Harry Leslie and Myrtle Catherine (Grow) Tighe and a veteran of the U.S. Army. A die setter, he had worked over 35 years for Vulcan Hart Corporation at their Sparrows Point, MD location, retiring in 1997. Tom had served as vice president of the Stove, Furnace & Allied Appliance Workers International Union of North America Local #50 of Baltimore, MD.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
Three children-
Carol Huth and her husband, David of Hedgesville, WV
Linda Blackburn of Street, MD and her fiancé, Joseph McClain
Donna Kozub of Bel Air, MD

A sister, June Burgoyne of Newburg, WV

Two brothers-John Tighe of Grafton, WV and Richard Tighe of Nestorsville, WV

Numerous grandchildren as well as great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his children: Brenda Keener and Gary Tighe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with funeral staff outside during all services to assist with parking as well as handicap needs.

Graveside services with inurnment and military honors will be held on Monday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Bluemont Cemetery, 151 E. Bluemont Street, Grafton, WV.
