Life Story for William B. Day, Sr.
WILLIAM B. DAY, SR., 67, went “Home at Last” on Monday, June 4, 2018. Born on February 27, 1951 in Harford County, he was the third son of the late Robert L. and Jean E. (Caulford) Day. Bill Day was a loving and devoted husband to Jo Ann (Harrison) Day for over 46 years.
Bill Day had worked in Severn, MD as a maintenance manager for many years. Upon retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored. He often joked with his grandchildren, as he did with his four children as they were growing up. He enjoyed dressing as a leprechaun at the Dublin Country Fair for many years. A lifelong member of Dublin United Methodist Church, he spent many hours serving the Lord in any way he could find. He had been the caretaker of Dublin Southern Cemetery for over ten years, where his family rests.

His daughter, Christina Day
His son, William B. Day, Jr. and his wife, Nicole Day and their children: Savanna Hellman, Emily Hellman, Sarah Day and William B. Day, III.
His son, Robert L. Day, II and his family: Diane Crue and sons Joshua Crue and Joel Crue.
His daughter, Julie Tittel and her husband, Thomas Tittel and their children: Rebecca Tittel and Alicia Tittel.
His siblings:
Sisters-in-law, Charlotte Day and Ruth Durman
Michael Day and his wife, Linda Day.
Sue Williams and her husband, Ricky Williams.
Steven Day and his wife, Deborah Day.
Connie Wallace and her husband, William Wallace.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers: Ronald Day and Robert Day, Jr.
Services will be held at Dublin United Methodist Church, 1524 Whiteford Road, Street, MD 21154. Visitation on Thursday, June 7, 5-8 pm with funeral services will be on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11am. Interment will be in Dublin Southern Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Dublin Southern Cemetery, in c/o Julie Tittel, 1603 Whiteford Road Darlington, MD 21034.
