                                                                times of side-splitting laughs 

                                                                and cheeks streaked with tears

                                                                the parties , the gatherings

                                                                so fun but so fleeting

                                                                the good times 

                                                               golden threads woven through years

                                                               Oft times there are burdens

                                                               worries and troubles

                                                               when laughter's an echo 

                                                               from far away halls

                                                               yet smiles can return

                                                               with vibrance and vigor

                                                               as my mind starts a journey   

                                                               a search to recall

                                                               the good times , the gay times

                                                               a part of us all
