WILLIAM MICHAEL GOONER, 65 of Whiteford, MD, died on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Married on May 20, 1995, he was the beloved husband of Nancy Lee (Esworthy) Gooner for over 24 years.
Born on August 6, 1954 in Harrisburg, PA, he was a son of the late William Nolan and Phyllis Alvinna (Doering) Gooner and had served with the United States Army for 13 years both in Europe and the states. Known as a hard worker, he had been employed in various jobs including local businesses: the former Whiteford Packing Company and retiring in 2014 from Benfield Electric Company. William enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader; he will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
Three daughters- Amy, Kelly and Brittany Gooner
A sister, Paula Ward
Five grandchildren
A stepson- David William Arnold
