Obituary for Anthony Collins Rice
ANTHONY COLLINS RICE, 68 of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born on April 22, 1952 in York, PA, he was a son of Betsy Marie Brown and the late Stewart Anderson, Rice, Sr.
Tony was a graduate of North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD and had worked for the Maryland State Government Department of Highways for 35 years. He first drove trucks from the Darlington location and retired from the Churchville depot. He worshipped along with his family at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church in Delta, PA and was known as a loving and caring man. A hard worker, he had a great sense of humor, was a dear brother and enjoyed watching sports. Tony was quite the talented mechanic and truly never met a stranger. He will be missed.

A nephew, William Rice of Aberdeen, MD
His longtime girlfriend/companion of over 16 years, Angela Johnson of Aberdeen, MD
Numerous loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Stewart A. Rice, Jr. and half-sister, Alice Ann Rice.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 6 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home. 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with his pastor, Reverend Mary Johnson officiating.
