Obituary for Beverly A. Amos

BEVERLY A. AMOS, 81 of Airville, PA, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Andrew J. Amos with whom she had shared 64 years of marriage.

Born on June 15, 1939 in Saxton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Landis and Mildred Mosel. Beverly had worked as a cook at the former Millers Restaurant and worshipped at the Silver Spurs Cowboy Church in Brogue, PA. Beverly will be remembered for her good heart, always there for others. Her family commented: she was a wonderful mother, great role model for family and friends, enjoyed family gatherings and shared her love with everyone. A wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be truly missed.

Michael Landis Amos, Sr. of Airville, PA

A sister, Shirley Steele of Essex, MD

Five grandchildren-
Justin Richardson, Edward Amos, Jr., Matthew Amos, Andrew Richardson and Michael Landis Amos, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Janet, Donna, Mack, Jim and Jack.

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Chaplain Brad Rineholt of Cowboys for Christ Ministry officiating.

Interment will be held in Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD at 1 p.m. Please travel to the cemetery immediately following the funeral and meet at the graveside. For safety reasons, there will not be a procession.
