Byron Jess Boyd passed away peacefully in his home on April 25th, 2021 with his loving wife at his side and has gone home to be with the Lord.
He was born in Clarksville, TN, on October 1st, 1983, making his stay here on earth 37 years, 6 months, and 25 days. Byron was the husband of Michal Ann (Waltermyer) Boyd for over 11 wonderful years. Byron was the son of Wayne and Sharon Boyd of Winter Garden, FL.
Byron is survived by his wife and his four beautiful daughters: Lydia, Naomi, Esther, and Miriam. He is also survived by: his brother Brandon Boyd and wife Kerrie of Plano, TX; sister Brittany Boyd of Stewartstown, PA; sister-in-law Rachel Lins and husband Rob of New Park, PA; sister-in-law Leah Maters and husband Ryan of Stewartstown, PA; father-in-law Michael Waltermyer and wife Vicki of New Park, PA, and 11 nieces and nephews.
Byron was a faithful member of Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church and remained dedicated until his death. Byron professed a born again salvation in Jesus Christ in his teenage years and lived a life which mirrored that belief. He was a loving father, husband, brother, son, friend and Christian. He spent the last 6 years of his life with a rare presentation of cancer that led him closer in the walk with the Lord Jesus. Due to God’s mercy and his profession in Christ, Byron is now resting in the presence of God. He believed in the Holy Word of God, living a Christian life and fellowshipping with his brothers and sisters in Christ. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, but is now enjoying the great paradise of God.
The funeral will be held at 1 PM on Friday, April 30th, 2021 at Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church, 15 Salisbury Road, Airville, PA, 17302 with Elder Rob Johnson and Elder Rob Lins presiding over the service.
