Cheryl Ann Berry, age 74, of Darlington, MD passed away on May 21, 2022. Born in Welch, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Herman Robert Welch and Nellie Mae (Hayden) Welch and wife of Dewey A. Berry. She graduated from Bel Air High School. An Army wife, Cheryl helped support her family working for Bata Shoe Company, Glen Eagle Sewing Factory and Saks Fifth Avenue. She was a child of God and a member of the Dublin Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to socialize and spend time with her family and friends along with working on crafts.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Dewey Berry of Darlington, Maryland, her sons, Robert Berry of Churchville, Maryland and Scottie Berry and his wife Tonya of Street, MD, Daughter in Law Stephanie Berry of Bel Air, Maryland, and her sister Kathy Welch of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Taylor Berry, Kiersten Berry, David Berry, and Jordan Berry; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Nellie Welch; and a grandson, Kyle Spencer Mullikin.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Berry; David Berry; Jordan Berry; Bill Spealman; Christopher Spealman and Robert Doss.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday, May 24 from 6 to 8 pm at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at 11 am at the Harkins Funeral Home with her pastor, Reverend James E. Parks officiating.
Entombment will take place in Harford Memorial Gardens.
