Obituary for Dennis Lee Stumpf
DENNIS LEE STUMPF, 69 of Stewartstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in WellSpan York Hospital. Born on New Year’s Eve in 1951, he was a son of the late William Morgan Stumpf, Sr., and Helen Agnes (Raivel) Stumpf. He graduated in 1971 from Southern High School in Baltimore. Dennis then went on to work 37 years for the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local #193 in the Baltimore area, retiring in 2007.
Dennis loved to be on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay where he would go crabbing with his sons Brandon and Dennis. He loved his grandchildren and cherished the times they spent together. In addition, he played cards weekly with his buddies. He was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. Dennis looked forward to watching and complaining about the games with Brandon. His smile and fun-loving spirit will be missed.
He is survived by his six children, Jennifer Dickerson, Dennis Lee Stumpf II, Kimberly Pabst, Brandon Stumpf, Ashley Strock, and Weston Stumpf; his nine grandchildren; and his brother, Bill Stumpf.
A celebration of life will be held on January 7, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harkins Funeral Home.
