EVERETTE H. MULLINS, SR., 81 of Delta, PA, died on Saturday, December 28, 2019 in Rest Haven-York. Married on May 19, 1979, he had shared over 40 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Phyllis Jean (Jennings) Mullins. Born on May 15, 1938 in Woodbine, MD, he was one of two children of the late Everette Scott Mullins and one of five children born to the late Sinona Rebecca (Sparks) Mullins-Stanley.
Everette lost his father when he was an infant; he was raised by a loving stepfather, the late Nailor Stanley, and had served in the National Guard from 1958 – 1960. He was a longtime resident of Delta, and a faithful attendee of Bryansville United Methodist Church. Working for the McCorquodale Color Card Company, Inc., he retired as a supervisor in May of 2000. In addition, he had worked for Paul Wiley Excavation for approximately 10 years. He and his wife, Phyllis lived and worked for Yellowstone National Park Service for two years where he love for animals and the great outdoors was thoroughly enjoyed. He also spent quite a bit of his life in the mountains appreciating nature and all of its beautiful animals. He loved to hunt and fish and had a special place in his heart for Sinnemahoning State Park and its wildlife. His memberships included the Sinnemahoning Sportsman Club and the North American Hunting Club.
His family remarked that he will be remembered by his smile, as a devoted family man, loved dogs and wildlife animals and especially as a dedicated husband, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 7-9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in Bryansville U.M. Church, 2325 Bryansville Road, Delta, PA 17314. His minister, Pastor Beth R. Holz will officiate. Immediately following the service, interment will be held in Union Chapel Cemetery, Delta, PA.
A time of refreshment and remembering will be held after the interment in the Bryansville Church social hall. In memory of Everette, contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
