GENE ALLEN WOODS, 66 of Airville, PA, died on Friday, November 26, 2021 in his home. Married on August 8, 1986, he had shared 35 years of marriage with his beloved wife and motorcycle-riding partner, Linda L. (Smith) Woods. Born on January 31, 1955 in Cowen, WV, he was a son of the late Oliver Rosco Woods and Edith Dolora (Miller) Woods. Gene was a talented mechanic working for Gibson Auto in Harford County, MD and then for Gordons Auto in Stewartstown, PA before retiring in 2020. He was an avid motorcyclist, having ridden Honda Goldwing motorcycles – first with his wife followed by adding a sidecar for their son to ride in all 48 states. Gene clocked in over 200,000 combined miles on his beloved bikes with an annual ride to the Webster County Woodchoppers Festival and Bridge Day in WV. Gene enjoyed sitting around a campfire on Saturday nights listening to country music. He enjoyed attending bull riding events as well as truck and tractor pulls. Gene was known to help and watch the Special Olympics events where his son, Cody participated. His wife and son will miss his adventurous spirit and love of riding.

A sister, Carolyn Magill of Baltimore, MD

A brother-in-law, George, husband of his late sister, Judy

Nieces and nephews-George, Bill, Jackie and Melissa

He was preceded in death by his siblings-Judy Farinholt, Karen Weitherow and Bill Woods.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a time of visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Pastor Christopher Golembiowski of Windsor Assembly of God will officiate.
