GLENN E. CROWL, 60 of Airville, PA, died on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA. He was the beloved son of Joyce L. (Kilgore) Crowl of Airville and G. Ellis Crowl who passed away on April 22. 2021.
Born on September 18, 1960 in York, PA, he spent his lifetime on the family farm, Joy-El Farm where he tilled the fields and milked the cows alongside his father, brothers and numerous family members. Five generations of the Crowl Family have cared for the farm for over 100 years. Uncle Buddy as he was known, was very involved with the milking shorthorn breed traveling to national conventions as well as showing the farm’s prize cattle at local, state and national shows as well as community fairs. He was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Milking Shorthorn Society and the American Milking Shorthorn Society. Glenn also bred and showed Lineback Cattle and enjoyed collecting toy Allis Chalmers tractors as well as owning and operating Allis Chalmers tractors on the farm. He had been a volunteer for the Airville Volunteer Fire Company and enjoyed traveling to Potter County, PA where he rode snowmobiles, four wheelers and enjoyed the company of many local friends who traveled there too. His gentle nature and smile will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Salem United Methodist Church, 5042 Delta Road, Delta, PA beginning at 11 a.m. Deanna Johnson will officiate with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
