Obituary for Glenn Robert Ewart, Jr.

Life story prepared by his family - Glenn Robert Ewart ,Jr was born August 11th, 1949. He was the only son of Emma and Glenn Robert Ewart, Senior of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania.

Glenn moved to Maryland to pursue his degree in teaching early in the 1970s where he met the love of his life. Glenn was a loving devoted husband to Rhonda Jean Ewart of 43 years. He left a legacy behind single handedly populating Harford County Maryland with his five children (Christa, Deborah, Elischa, Josiah and Micah), 9 grandchildren (Christian, Dylan, Trinity, Alyssa, Addison, Wilhelm, Jacob, Reinhardt and Lilly), and 3 great grandchildren (Ashtynn, Myra, Finley). With the smallest great grandchild making their debut in August of 2022.

Glenn gave his life to the Lord as a small child and started preaching in 1979. He was the senior pastor of The Encouraged Church that was established in 1989. Glenn served his passion and lifelong calling of being a pastor.

Glenn left this world to join our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 8th, 2022 at 7:06pm. Because of Glenn’s devotion, and dedication to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Glenn had the privilege of leading many people across the globe to the Lord. He truly lived his motto of “save souls, change lives and strengthen believers.”

Glenn was a man who didn’t know his own greatness. Glenn was a man of his word, humble, loved his family and changed the world one salvation at a time.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 21 from 6 to 8 pm at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 22 beginning at 1:30 pm at the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 1510 Deep Run Road, Whiteford, MD

Officiating will be Pastor Mike Baker of the Victorious Faith Fellowship, Forest Hill, MD will officiate.

Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
