GLORIA JEAN EDWARDS, 74 of Chesterfield, SC, formerly of Whiteford. MD, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021 from her family home. She was the devoted wife of David Vaughn Edwards, Sr. who passed away in June, 2019.

Born on August 26, 1946 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a daughter of the late James Arthur and Anna Mae (Echman) Tibbs . Gloria graduated from Bel Air High School in 1964 and finished her education with an associate degree from Harford Community College. Gloria was the secretary for the family business, David Edwards Plumbing of Darlington, MD.

Gloria truly loved her Lord and worshipped Him daily. She was a devoted pastor’s wife when her late husband began his ministry in 2002 and was at his side serving the church families. She cherished the memories of her church friends and the many times they had the opportunity to worship together. A godly lady, her gentle heart and loving spirit will be missed.

A son, Darren Vaughn Edwards, Sr. and his wife, Lisa A.of Chesterfield SC

Many loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Vaughn Edwards, Jr., and granddaughter, Mary Catherine Edwards.

Services will be private for her family and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
