Obituary for Holly Mary Niblett Davis

HOLLY MARY NIBLETT DAVIS, 72 of Delta, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born on June 1, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Walter “Walt” Salisbury Niblett Jr, and Dorothy Groff Swope Niblett.

Holly was a graduate of Bel Air High School, and grew up on her family’s farm Cedar Grove, that is now Box Hill North. The silo that she used to climb still stands. Holly had worked in the nursing field for the offices of Dr Kulkarni at the Carney and Edgewood MD locations, was a caregiver for her mother for over 10 years and had worked in the nursing field for 20+ years. Holly operated a photo studio in Edgewood and was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Bel Air, MD where she had been a Sunday School teacher. Holly enjoyed her nature walks, bird watching and was a great painter. She has also spent a great deal of her time researching and updating the family genealogy. Holly had a very long, exhausting battle with COPD which ultimately led to her untimely passing. She can now be reunited with her lifetime best friend Janis Croasdale Thompson. As many of you can remember, Holly was there when anyone was in need, she always wanted to help, and was the coolest Mom ever, and will be greatly missed.

Janice (Gerald) Scarborough
