Obituary for J. Alan Morris

LIFE STORY PREPARED BY HIS LOVING FAMILY: John Alan Morris, 79, of Whiteford, Maryland, passed away on November 16th, 2022 in Bel Air, Maryland. Alan Morris was born to Clyde and Louise Morris on June 3rd, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. He married Rosalind Buecker on August 10th, 1963 in Delta, Pennsylvania. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in August 2022.

Alan was an independent truck driver for 51 years. He worked for multiple companies, most recent being KBS, Inc. out of Thomasville, Pennsylvania. Alan enjoyed working around the house in his free time, going out to eat, and enjoying time with his family.

Alan was preceded in death by his son, Michael Morris, father, Clyde Morris, and mother, Louise Morris.

Alan Morris is survived by wife, Rosalind Morris. Daughter, Kathy Bradley and husband Timothy, granddaughter, Alita Pague and husband, Matt, granddaughter, Lexi Bradley and boyfriend, Austin Floyd, great granddaughter, Olivia Pague, sister Linda Gall and husband Glenn, brother, Jim Morris and wife Sarah, sister, Deborah Mullin and husband Mike and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jim Morris, Michael Mullin, Timothy Bradley, Timothy
Mullin, Travis Jones, and Billy Buecker.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Rowan, Steve Strickler, Johnny Mullhausen, Brett Smith, Bill Buecker and Glenn Gall.

A viewing will be held at on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Donald C. Rowe and Certified Lay Minister Carol Burkindine officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Tabernacle Cemetery, Whiteford, MD.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to Tabernacle Cemetery Association, 2213 North Tabernacle Road, Whiteford, MD. 21160
