Obituary for Jeffrey Neal Almoney

LIFE STORY WRITTEN BY HIS MOTHER - JEFFREY NEAL ALMONEY, 53 of Delta, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Born on May 20, 1969 in Havre de Grace, MD, Jeffrey was the son of Carolyn R. (Farley) Dick of Airville, PA and John Emory Almoney of Kentucky.

His brother, Jeremy Herbert Almoney and his wife, Cindy of Delta, PA and their family: Gregory Almoney, Rachel Izola Almoney, Holley Izola Young and her husband, Mike and their daughter- Emiko

Uncle Glenn Farley

Nieces and nephews: Faith Findley; Billy & June Hodge, Sara Nicole Farley and James Neville Farley

Uncle Samuel Almoney and aunts: Debbie Moser, Diane Brown and Darlene King.

Jeff was born into two of the most loving families – the Farleys and Almoneys. A gift from God.

Jeff was a skilled electrician and worked for many years at Belview Electric and Northwest Electric. He was also skilled in painting, drywall finishing and woodworking.

Jeff was so amazing he could do anything and had a joyful soul and a loving spirit for all. He had a great love for animals and old classic muscle cars. He was currently in the process of restoring his 1969 Dodge Charger Dukes of Hazzard General Lee.

His greatest accomplishment was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a tent revival held by the late Reverend Donald McKnight in Dublin Maryland in 1988. Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Kennard Dale High School.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Phillip Dick.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta, PA beginning at 11 a.m.
