Obituary for Joann L. Ward
JOANN L. WARD, 75 of Manor Care Kingston Court - York, PA, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Born on June 21, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Dorothy G. (Blankenship) Sizemore.
Joann was devoted to her faith and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brogue, PA. A homemaker, she enjoyed working puzzle books, attending Delta Senior Center and participating in activities at Manor Care. Family was an important part of her life, and she always looked forward to the gatherings.
She is survived by:
A son, Dwayne Ward and his wife, Theresa of Carnegie, PA
Two siblings: Jordan Sizemore and Marie Harrington, both of Fawn Grove, PA
Two grandchildren- Morgan and Shawn
Many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two siblings: Nellie Moser and Lloyd Sizemore.
