John D. “Jack” Allan, age 74 years, of Delta, PA died at his home at 5:10 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was the husband of Sharon Ann (Aldinger) Allan and they observed their 6th. wedding anniversary on August 17, 2020.
Jack was born in Baltimore, MD on April 15, 1946, a son of the late Donald and Anna Marie (Goetz) Allan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from March 1966 until October 1969. A resident of Delta since 1976, he spent his career as a machinist and for the past 20 years has owned and operated Allan’s Metal Fabrications in Delta where his experience and talent allowed him to produce any metal part a customer required.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting, and he loved listening to Bluegrass music. He also had a life long love of motorcycling. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Also surviving are Jack’s twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Mary Patricia (Pat) Allan with whom he shared 36 wonderful years of marriage.
The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 beginning at 3 p.m. at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, 1910 Whiteford Rd., Street, MD 21154.
Military honors will be presented at 4 p.m.
