Obituary for Joyce Marie Kopher (Suehs)
JOYCE MARIE KOPHER, 61 of Darlington, MD, passed away in her home on Saturday, New Year’s Day 2022. Married on August 1, 2003, she was the beloved wife for 18 years of Kenneth Anthony Kopher.
Born on April 25, 1960 in Rosedale, MD, she was a daughter of the late George J. Suehs and Anna M. (Schweiger) Suehs and a 1978 graduate of Eastern Vocational Technical High School in Essex, MD. She completed her Associate Degree with the College of Notre Dame of Baltimore, MD. Joyce had retired on May 1, 2021 after 27 years of service as an Administrative Assistant with Baltimore County Public Schools.
Joyce loved to travel and went as often as possible to their vacation home in Ocean City. Her grandchildren were her greatest joys.
In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by; her daughter, Michele (Lewis), her son-in-law Kevin Zamenski and four grandchildren; Gavin, Haley, Gage, Griffin. A niece, Kelly Gomez, is also left to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by one sister, Georgeann Loudermilk.
Joyce will be inurned at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Dundalk, MD and a celebration of life service will be scheduled in the future at the convenience of the family.
