Obituary for Margaret Ann Allen

Marge Allen of Whiteford, MD departed peacefully on February 6, 2021 at her home after a long battle with cancer and COPD. She was 79 years of age.
Born in NC, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Nellie Congleton of Baltimore, MD. She was married to Joseph Allen who passed just hours before her. She is survived by her brother Howard Congleton Jr. and his wife Carolyn. She is also survived by her children, Kevin Collini, Glenn Allen and his wife Susan, and Renee’ Combs and her husband Evan. She was the proud, loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Katlyn Wood and her husband Danny, Miles Combs and his wife Melissa, Luke Allen, Abbey Combs, and Katie Allen. She was affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Nana Banana.”
Marge was a beautician for over 20 years before she earned her LPN and practiced nursing for an additional 20 years. She had a passion for home health care. Marge was a beloved member of the St. Matthew’s Women’s Bible Study. She enjoyed finding a good bargain, going to the beach with her friends and spending precious time with her family. Her strong faith was an inspiration to all who knew her.
