Obituary for Merle Thomas Wagner

MERLE THOMAS WAGNER, 74 of White Hall, MD, died on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. He was the beloved husband of Pamela L. (Franzello) Wagner, and they shared 25 years of marriage.

Born on April 8, 1946 in Bel Air, MD, Tommy as he was known, was a son of the late Earle B. and Glara J. (Joines) Wagner and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Tommy was a member of Carsin Run Baptist Church in Churchville, MD and was known to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Tommy enjoyed writing poetry and was a very talented sketch artist and painter. He was a member of the American Legion Post #182 of Whiteford, MD and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Tommy appreciated many forms of wildlife and cherished the times spent with his family.

Elizabeth M. Wagner of Darlington, MD
Angel M. Wernick and her husband, Mitch of Parkville, MD

Larry Wagner and his wife, Talia of Cincinnati, OH
Kenneth Wagner and his wife, Debbie of Double Oak, TX

Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

A viewing will be held on Sunday, the 14th from 2 – 4 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Graveside services will be held on Monday. February 15, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD. Military honors will be presented at the graveside. Pastor Rodney Stamper of Bethany Baptist Church will officiate.
