PATRICK ANTHONY LENZI, 88 of Fawn Grove, PA, passed away peacefully at York Hospital on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was the loving husband of Ethel (Mitchell) Lenzi with whom he recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on November 10, 2021.
Born on September 9, 1933 in Farrell, PA he was a son of the late Pasquale and Laura (Martin) Lenzi and graduated from Farrell High School in 1952. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army serving three years that included a tour in France.
Pat retired from the former McCorquodale Color Card Company after many years as a paint chemist working with paint and cosmetic companies along the east coast. In addition, he was a certified barber, who for many years until his death, operated a barbershop in his home. He enjoyed cutting hair one day a week so he could spend time with his many customers who became his close friends.
Pat formed the gospel group, The Crusaders in the seventies, where he spent many years with his trio traveling to many churches serving the Lord. He was also a member and past master of Friendship Lodge #663 F & A M of Fawn Grove, a member of the Stewartstown American Legion Post #455 and was a faithful member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church where he had served in many positions including choir director.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Patrick (Denise) and a daughter Kim McCallister. Four grandchildren: Ryan Lenzi (Michelle); Jason McCallister (Misty); Brandon McCallister (Missy); Kiley Johnson (Harold) as well as many loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: William, Phillip, John, Joseph, Florence, Mary and a grandson, Adam Lenzi.
