Obituary for Paul Anthony Cillo

LIFE STORY PREPARED BY HIS FAMILY: Paul A. Cillo of Bel Air, MD passed away on November 19, 2022. Paul was born December 24, 1935, to parents the late Paul S. Cillo and Cora Cillo of Williamsport. PA.

Paul married his childhood sweetheart Joyce and left PA in 1954 after enlisting in the US Army. He proudly served for 21 years with many accomplishments and retired as SFC in 1974.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Larry Cillo and sister Annette Helmka. He is survived by his wife Joyce; three children, Lindsay Crook and her husband Jim, Michael J. Cillo and his wife, Lois, and Paul A. Cillo, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers: Richard Cillo, Frank Cillo, and Roger Cillo.

After retiring from the Army, Paul worked various jobs and became manager of American Legion Post 39, where he was awarded a lifetime membership.

Paul loved spending time with his family to include hosting family gatherings, BBQs, happy hours, and dinners. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards, working in the yard and his vegetable garden. He was especially proud of the huge tomatoes he grew and shared with everyone.

Paul was a very generous man and will be missed by all who knew him.
