Obituary for Robert Lee Gootee Jr.
LIFE STORY PREPARED BY THE FAMILY: Robert Lee Gootee, Jr. Aka Rob, Aka Roberto, Aka Little Robert -son of Bob Gootee, twin brother of Sandy Gootee; left us far too soon on February 27, 2022 at the age of 21, at his home in Delta, PA. He was born December 23, 2000 at Upper Chesapeake and grew up in Delta. He leaves behind his stepmother Stephanie Gootee, paternal grandfather Bill Gootee (Jane), paternal Uncles Brian (Sharon), Brandon (fiancé Trish Ryan) and Bradley Gootee, stepsisters Morgan (fiancé Steven Connors) and Alison Rameika, step-nephew Liam, step-grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins and cousins Aiden, Gavin, Corey, Shawn, Alexis, Kason and Kassidy Gootee. There are far too many friends to list who will mourn his loss as well.
Robert joins his paternal grandmother Sandra Lee Gootee. He was also predeceased by his paternal great grandparents.
Robert was known for his fierce spirit, stubbornness, sense of humor and most of all; his amazing smile. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, working outside, sports, video games and especially making people laugh. Robert was known as a jokester and as someone always willing to lend a helping hand. As a teen, one of his favorite things to do was play Madden with his father or helping him in the garden. He usually had his best friend Bruiser at his side. He was employed by Epic Landscaping and was a hard worker; but, also made work fun often doing things to make his coworkers laugh, usually at his own expense. There is no doubt he had an impact on everyone he met and his absence will be felt by many.
