“In loving memory of ROSEMARIE (CRISAFULLI) POPE, an extraordinary woman that loved and cared more than anyone in my life, “commented her beloved husband, John West Pope of 20 years. Rosemarie passed away suddenly in her home on Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Airville, PA. On the morning just prior to her death, Rosemarie left a note for her husband that he will cherish each day forward – “I love you and miss you badly.” Your Sweetie Sweetie.

Born on November 8, 1964 in Arlington County, VA, she was a daughter of Rosalie (Fiorelli) Crisafulli of Annapolis, MD and the late Salvatore Crisafulli. Rosemarie had attended catholic schools where she was awarded several certificates of excellence followed by graduating from Osbourn Park Senior High School in June 1982. She was very proud to have owned her own business – Safe Parking Lot in Gatlinburg, TN and enjoyed visiting with her customers. A lifelong catholic and currently a member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Pylesville, MD, she was a “people person” caring for others especially women that were struggling in life for any reasons. In addition, she loved and cared for animals.

Left to mourn the loss:
Three siblings-
Josephine DiMarco (Anthony) of Dunkirk, MD
John Crisafulli (Susan) of North Beach, MD

Ten nieces/nephews – Camille, Matthew, Gabriel, Sarah, Andrea, Kimberly, Kellianne, Robert, Bethany and Carolyn

Ten great nieces/nephews – Isabella, Luna, Madeline, Lydia, John, Leo, Eleanor, Jada, Max and Akasha

The lasting memory I'll always have of my Aunt Cookie will be that special time my family shared together when she was living with us. She was going through a positive and transformative time in her life and her energy and uplifting spirits inspired us all. We will always love you, Aunt Cookie. Your nephew, Gabe.

Cookie , I was only 7 when you were born , and ever since Mom brought you home from the hospital , you bacame a wonderful part of my life. I recall reading to you and playing hours of board games with you. As children and through life , I think we shared the most significant thing of all. We had Mom and Dad's Love , PLUS the Love , tender guidance and great example of John , Jo Jo and Christina. Until we meet again, just follow the light and go to Dad , Christina , and so many others who Love us.

Her name is Rosemarie....for me she will always be "Cookie"....the name my Dad called her and me too for many years. She always reminded me how lucky she was for having me as her big brother.....and I, never enough, told her how happy I was to have her as my little sister. I will always remember the happy times we shared when we visited and when we talked on the phone or when I visited her in Tennessee at the parking lot. I know you are now with God in peace and joy and happiness.
Love, "your big brother" JOHN

Whatever the road may be that leads us back to God and our heavenly home, LOVE is what takes us there. With memories of the love we shared whether through joy and happiness or whether through trials and tribulations, know that my love has always been now and forever yours. I am so glad you were in my life as well as I know you were glad I was in yours. Soon, we will meet again in heaven where there will only be joy and happiness.
Your loving Sister Jo
