Obituary

Sharon M. Callahan, age 70 years of Dover, PA and formerly of Delta died at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at her residence in the Providence Place Retirement Community in Dover.

Born in Dover, Delaware she was a daughter of the late Howard and Ingeborg Ruth (Schumann) Callahan. Prior to her retirement, Sharon was a longtime letter carrier for the Bel Air Post Office in Bel Air, Maryland.

She is survived by two sons:
Cory D. Vaught of Delta
H. Scott Vaught and his wife, Melissa of Delta

Four grandchildren: Elliot, Machaela, Gavin and Dustin Vaught

One great granddaughter: Octavia Johnson

Three brothers: Howard Callahan, III and his wife, Cindy of Rotonda West, Florida
Bruce Callahan of Forest Hill, MD
Charles Callahan and his wife, Anita of Tulsa, Oklahoma

I also work at Providence place. Sharon was a wonderful person, I loved getting to know her. I will miss seeing her smiling face everyday. Providence place won't be the same without her. My condolences to all family and friends, R.i.p ms. Sharon, til we meet again.

My deepest condolences. I work at Providence place and Ms. Sharon was a beautiful soul she always smelled wonderful (that’s how we got to know eachother). I will miss seeing her beautiful face and bright smile, she will always have a place in my heart.
