Obituary for Shirley Francis Rollins
SHIRLEY FRANCIS ROLLINS, 87 of Airville, PA, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died on Friday, December 3, 2021 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Howard Edward Rollins, Sr., with whom she had shared 66 years of marriage.
Born on September 8, 1934 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Robert Anthony Riebel and Anna Marie (Hines) Riebel and a graduate of Patterson High School of Baltimore. Shirley spent most of her life in Baltimore until moving to lower York County in 2013. She and her husband enjoyed taking long distance trips on their Honda 750 motorcycle with fellow Baltimore Rambler group members, attending dinner theater productions and accompanying her husband to Masonic events. Shirley enjoyed caring for the home and her family. The greatest joy of her life was being “NANA” to lots of little ones in addition to her own. Shirley just loved kids and the more around her the better. Her caring spirit and love will be missed.

Four children-Cynthia Jolly, Howard Edward Rollins, Jr., Scott Ralph Rollins and Todd Anthony Rollins
A sister, Erma Rawa
Eight grandchildren as well as numerous great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Blanche Rollins and her brother, Robert Riebel.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 12 noon at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with an opportunity to visit the family from 11 – 12. Deacon Alonte Joshua Hill will preside.
