Obituary for Susie Wright
SUSIE WRIGHT, 90 of Red Lion, PA, formerly of Delta, PA, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Luther M. Wright who passed away on June 10, 2001.
Born on April 20, 1930 in Cordova, WV, she was one of ten children born to the late Gabe and Retta (Baldwin) Blankenship and was preceded in death by her nine siblings and her ten half-siblings. Susie had worked for over 20 years at the former McCorquodale Color Card Company in Whiteford, MD. She was a member of Bryansville United Methodist Church in Delta and when she moved to Red Lion 18 years ago, she attended Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Church. A talented seamstress, she loved to make quilts and each family member was a recipient of her beautiful hand work. In addition, she enjoyed gardening and was known for her gorgeous flowerbeds. Her family would like to thank the dedication and love her caregivers gave their mother for the past four years.

Thirteen grandchildren and two step grandchildren
Twenty great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28th at 2:30 p.m. in Bryansville Cemetery, 2788 Bryansville Road, Delta, PA 17314. Please gather at the grave for services; social distancing as well as masks will be required. Pastor Beth Holz of Bryansville UMC and Pastor Larry Parlett will co-officiate. A private viewing will be held for the family.
